Mechanical Engineer
Our Client, Albert Kahn, is a world-renowned architecture & engineering services firm, located in the heart of Detroit. They offer a variety of services to our clients, including urban planning, environmental review, historical preservation, sustainability, and electrical, mechanical, and structural engineering. Right now, they are looking for strong Mechanical Engineers to join their team.
Location: Detroit, MI
Responsibilities:
- Designing plumbing, fire protection, and HVAC systems.
- Collaborating and coordinating with other disciplines.
- Conducting engineering studies, including the preparation of written reports and oral presentations.
- Developing specifications.
Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
- Must be able to work onsite in the Detroit office.
- 5 – 7 years of relevant experience in the A/E industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Registered Engineer in the United States.
- Experience in Building MEP Design and Engineering.
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and 3-D software.
- Proficient in Trane Trace, equipment selection tools, and Microsoft Office programs.
- Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of professional conduct and appearance.
- LEED AP preferred.
- Some travel may be required.
