November evokes many things to Americans. Whether it’s nostalgic images of football, cooler temperatures, endless leaf management, Charlie Brown, pumpkin spice lattes, or turkey pardons, it most certainly includes Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving was founded as a religious observance to give thanks to God. U.S. tradition compares the holiday with a meal held in 1621 by the Wampanoag and the Pilgrims who settled at Plymouth Plantation. It is continued in modern times with the Thanksgiving dinner, centered around a turkey and assorted sides and a mealtime prayer. While November is a festive time of year it’s not considered peak time for hiring. The good news is that the pace of private sector employment continues to make strong gains in Raleigh by adding 25 jobs per day during the 10-year period analyzed, according to American City Business Journals. With that being said below are some of the local Triangle companies that are hiring.
