Welcome to 2016 where everything is new again. New resolutions of course but to Sales Leaders it is a time for new budgets, new sales goals and quotas, and new headcounts. Top candidates will be harder to hire because the drop in unemployment rate and the creation of more jobs means more choices and competing offers. At least that is what the “experts” are touting. I will save the validity of the experts for another blog. Below are just some of the talent resources available in Raleigh-Durham, NC to help you with your new 2016 sales and marketing headcount additions.

 Technology Sales

Matt has always had an interest in healthcare (physical therapy to be more exact). He almost pursued a physical therapy career in which explains his healthcare career path with companies that sold Prosthetics and a start-up that provides Exoskeletal Robots for paraplegia. Matt’s sales career also includes 2 years of EMR solution sales at a billing and collections company that provides technology and services to 600 physical therapy practices in 42 states. He managed the entire sales cycle from lead generation to product demonstration, contract negotiation, and to close in an 18 state territory. It is clear Matt understand how to build relationships, develop solutions to meet the needs of his clients, and is familiar with the challenges and system infrastructures of various healthcare entities. He has called on Hospitals, Long-Term Care Facilities, Physician Practices, Therapy Clinics, Orthopedic Surgeons, Pain Physicians, and Outpatient Rehabilitation Units. Matt’s preference is to stay local in the Raleigh area.

Devin is an experienced sales executive with proven success driven by extensive product knowledge, sales operations, managing expectations, delivering outstanding solutions and creating highly successful partnerships for both clients and employers. He is an entrepreneurial professional with multiple years of experience in business development and generating revenue for start-ups and corporate companies that include SAS, and Microsoft. Devin helps organizations use Salesforce.com more effectively and work across all industries with a full range of business processes. He has built a particular expertise with the Online Media, High Tech, and Financial Industries. Devin’s strengths lie in his customer service background and entrepreneurial drive. He understands how to grow a business by taking risks but also by developing strong customer relationships. He can carry the bag or collaborate with technical and management teams to develop proposals and close deals. I have known Devin for more than 15 years having met him when we worked together at Software startup. He is a class act and of the highest caliber of individuals that you can get. Devin prefers to stay local to the Raleigh area but it up for travel.

Stan has worked at 2 recruiting firms. The first on a 100% sales commission and the other position was as a recruiter/sales consultant at a healthcare staffing firm. This guy is not afraid of the phone and is pursuing a product sales position for a technology/software company. Stan is a true people person, is currently working in Hospitality and also has a Sunday radio gig. His great radio voice, communication, people skills, and sales experience will be an asset to any sales organization seeking lead generation experts.

Hal is a senior sales executive with over twenty years of sales experience in Healthcare and Life Sciences that includes small, start-up and early stage environments. His experience includes a 1 year Contract role at a healthcare provider of EHR billing for Home Health, Behavioral Health, and Health Departments to help the CEO rebrand the company for acquisition.

He doubled sales of SaaS-based eSignature software for a 3 person startup company started by a physician. Hal has partnered with EMR vendors to provide field solutions and exceeded sales targets with a provider of SaaS-based software for a home health medical equipment company and a provider of SaaS intellectual property protection platforms. Hal lives in the Raleigh area but is no stranger to travel.

Marketing Communications, Content, Operations, Strategy

Justin has demonstrated his digital expertise through his roles at a Raleigh-based healthcare SaaS provider and as a freelancer. His experience includes content creation, blogging, graphic design, web design, SEO, events, email marketing, and social media. He is a self-professed Twitter junkie with 44.3k tweets and 3,752 followers since signing up in 2008.

Sally was hired as a Social Media Coordinator for a vision center later acquired. She was promoted to Field Marketing Specialist and again to Marketing Manager. Sarah has been part of the company growth as it grew from 60 locations in 2 states to 215 locations. She is no stranger to growth, acquisition, and change. Her hands-on experience includes social media, content, blogs, SEO, CRM, email marketing, and analytics. Sarah likes data and numbers and is proficient in and adamant about using data analytics to measure her marketing initiatives. Sarah also manages the ad agencies and the Google team in her organization. Sally is relocating to Raleigh.

Stephanie, based in Raleigh, is a seasoned B2B and B2C digital marketing professional with experience leading integrated marketing and PR initiatives (print, web, social media, events) across diverse industries. Her content experience includes developing sales-driven print and digital content, marketing plans, sales collaterals, email marketing campaigns (Mailchimp), website content, social media, training portals and training videos. Stephanie knows basic HTML, WordPress, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, and has been working hard on SEO in her current role. She is also skilled in Adobe Photoshop and Acrobat. Stephanie enjoys working closely with sales teams and currently works with Salesforce.com and the sales department to map out and execute effective sales programs.

In his current role based in Raleigh, Randall oversees the effective execution of all corporate and individual retail location marketing, manages a two million dollar budget and leads a department staff of nine covering over 100 cities and towns throughout Arizona and North Carolina in order to achieve investor revenue targets for a medical care services provider. His B2 and B2C background in business operations, marketing communications, brand marketing, public relations, advertising and digital media is versatile and applicable to many industries. His experience includes working with the C-suite and understanding the importance of ROI, as well as the art and science of marketing products and services that meet customer needs. He directs all digital marketing including Pay Per Click (PPC), Search Engine Optimization (SEO) content marketing, social media (Google+, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Yelp) and email marketing campaigns. He also provides marketing consultant services from time to time under his own label specializing in integrated marketing, public relations, advertising, digital media and strategic consulting, planning and communications.
